After installing the ABT threaded chassis, the headlight and axle setting must be checked and, if necessary, corrected according to the manufacturer’s specifications.  The final lowering depends on the vehicle equipment, vehicle-specific tolerances, and the tyre size, but can be adjusted later using the height adjustment of the ABT suspension springs.

For vehicles with electric damper control in addition to the ABT threaded sports suspension, a separate decommissioning kit (Art.No.:KW68510496) is required.   Without this decommissioning kit, error messages from the chassis and malfunctions of other systems that are linked to the damper control occur.  Can be selected in dropdown menu.

When assembling the ABT chassis components, additional costs may arise due to the setting of additional technical systems (e.g. ACC distance control system, lane-keeping, lane change assistant, etc.). These costs are additional.  The respectively valid manufacturer’s instructions must be observed.
